Hey, people! So...I had a hell of a night.

Basically, last night was a party for one of our work expats who'll be returning to his home country after four years here. He's a really cool dude and threw the party in a pretty boss hotel pub. Being the punctual guy I am, I arrived on time, and therefore first since rarely is anyone ever on time in this country.

I had a really great night, actually. I met a lot of expat workers from various countries who thought I was a local at first but as soon as they heard my accent, let's just say things went way upwards. Hell, my teammates actually started bugging about how I was "abandoning" them and whatnot. Needless to say though, I did interact with them as well as my foreign colleagues. In a place like that, you kinda just end up doing both. Not to mention that by the end of the night, one of my teammates decided to get drunk and puke on himself, so I had no choice but to take care of him.

He's fine now, so no worries there but man was it tiring. It's a wonder how someone so skinny can be so goddamn heavy and require multiple people to carry them. Even more peculiar is what goes on through the mind of someone who gets so drunk despite being near all their bosses. This makes it the third time I've been taking care of drunk people. Granted, nobody decided to film it this time. But, things ended fairly well for everyone and I departed the party having made a few new acquaintances. At least this upcoming Monday ought to be interesting when we get back to work.
