"The partly clouded weather will last... FOREVER!""MWHAAHAHAHAhaha ha haa... wait that's not right."
Making fun of the MLP:FiM mobile game by GAMELOFT. For those not in the know, the "story" of that game is that Nightmare Moon has returned again, destroyed Ponyville and shattered the elements of harmony. Also, all of Twilight's friends are now missing. For some reason, now you need to pay massive amounts of money to convince them to come back. Oh, and rebuild Ponyville too.
...the fun thing is, that Nightmare Moon never brings about Eternal Night. Actually, it's sunny throughout pretty much 95% of the game, with the exception of a single minigame where you draw star constallations on your touchscreen. The only indication we get of her influence is that some of the map is slightly darker than the rest.
... It struck me as hilarious, in the opening "cutscene" Nightmare Moon proclaims that I'll never see the sun ever again while it is RIGHT THERE.

Actually, it does. But you need to pay an increasingly higher amount of money to shift those bounds in your favor, otherwise you can't place buildings there.

So well, that in fact, the amount of money Twilight owns has flipped over from the maximum value back into the negatives.

Yeah, technically, it should be -32768, but meh, I like "round" hexadecimal numbers, and of course the number should be negative for the lulz, so -FFFF it is.

I love how this is like a horrible game that every brony knows about. Liked we shared a bad experience and made the best of it.
Gives me hope for Equestria girls. Even if it's bad, we'll have tons of internet fun with it

Am I the only person who is thriving in that game having only spent $5 to get enough gems to purchase Rainbow Dash and Rarity? Seriously, the only problem I have is not having enough element shards to get rid of some parasprites.

if anypony play that game, mine is nightfallpony4.... i need more friends.......i'm on level 70 and still did not beet that game.... stupid gem of element that needs 150 element shards!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if it's a 17bit, signed integer, that would mean that you got 1 more bit than the game technically supports, causing it to overflow into the negative numbers. Basically, it's an artifact of computer memory, and something you can actually do in many games in real life. There's another funny computer error, where the number of gems is NaN, which stands for Not a Number, which indicates a fairly serious error.

-65535 bits and NaN gems...
Actually, I wonder whether you chose -65535 on purpose... Because this number exceeds the min and max values you can write in one word (two bytes, thus <-32768, 32767>). It is, however, the negative of the max unsigned value that fits in one word... But to add a sign to it you'd have to start using double words, and then the number loses any significance...
So it's either an honest mistake or you did it on purpose just to screw with my mind...

Aww I use to play this game.. until it started to glitch and wouldn't load. So I had to remove it. Sucks, spent around 6 months on it too.. got nearly every pony had a ton of coins.. never will I play that again.

Oh... uh... did you try booting the game without an internet connection? I had it hang up on load for me too, temporarily turning off Wi-fi fixed it.
Of course I can't be sure if that was the same reason.

No I toggled that, didn't work. I literally had to remove it. Because the only way to contact the company was through the game, sort of defeats the purpose if it won't load. But it gave me back my days, because prior to that I spent every waking minute playing the game. x.x
