Description
Commission for Eric Duffy. His two characters, an otter lady and young bat boy relaxing on a bed and entertaining themselves with their favorite pastimes. The shading didn't turn out exactly as I'd hoped but I am still happy with the over all warm feeling which is exactly what I wanted.EDIT: Just done some minor anatomical fixes and made some shadows a little darker.

Also, the otter's nose could be a bit wider. And ears less pointed but otherwise great!

This is adorable: the light works well to create atmosphere. I think the poses look a little awkward though: like the otter's back seems not to be touching the bed and the bat's left foot seems to be at the wrong angle.
Still, I'm loving the intimate and warm aspect of this picture: the bat's face is adorable, and they seem to be made for each other! It's not like they're two characters placed in the same picture just for the heck of it. If those were my characters I'd be very pleased with this picture. :3
I just don't want to see the picture after the laptop overheats and explodes because it's sitting on the bed and not getting any ventilation.

Yeah i know what you mean about the pose. Though I wonder if its more in the fact of the lack of fols from the cover and indentation in the covers that's probably suggesting that, and maybe not neccessarily the pose? Thanks for both the crit and the compliments dear ^_^

Thank yuo very much. I think when i started I was worried about coloring and shading the bed the most. I am dread ful with the folds of cloth and stuff. but at least this didnt turn out toooo bad ^_^
