I wanted to draw something from The Nightmare Before Christmas, because I love that movie. I remember seeing it in the theater when I was just like 5 or 6, and loving the music and the singing skeletons. Now that I'm a little older I can begin to see how much work must of went into it. Sometimes it's hard to believe it's stop motion. Every time I watch, there's a new little detail I notice. Plus, I still like the dancing skeletons
The reason I choose this scene... well, I have a thing for black lights. This really didn't scan well, the black isn't dark enough and the colors aren't bright enough, but I've messed with the levels all I feel safe doing. It will have to do.
Oogie Boogie is from Nightmare Before Christmas, directed by Tim Burton. This is not my character.

MY BUGS, MY BUGS! Yes, I remember that part well in my spooked little 6-year-old mind.
Not chalk.. colored pencil as always. It's a lot more vibrant in real life. Not as vibrant as the film though o.o Black lights ahoy!
