You said this is foam? I'm using EVA foam and my sanding leaves my piece fuzzy like suede do you know how to fix/prevent this?

So sorry about the late late late reply. The foam I had used was an insulation foam. The key to eliminating those fussies is using a much finer grade sandpaper. I have paper that goes up to 2000 grit (although if you can get a hold of 320, that might be good enough)

the blade looks so smooth!
how does this technique work on longer weapons, like a sword. would it bend?

Sorry for the late late reply. Actually the Master sword i have in my gallery is made from the same foam, just make sure to consistently look straight down the hilt to make sure you are smoothly it evenly
