Night had fallen over London, but the city never really went to sleep. The skyscrapers of Canary Wharf were lit brightly and even now the sound of pedestrians along the embankment drowned out the sound of the waves softly rolling against the wall the two men sat on.
"Thank you." Dick said quietly.
"For what?" Alex drew in the smell of the young wolf's hair. It had become so very familiar, soothing even. Dick's presence calmed him down, made him whole again after everything which had happened to him.
"For coming here with me. I like being here. It's peaceful."
"It is."
They sat there in silence again. Sometimes Dick nuzzled against Alex' shoulder, nibbling on the soft skin. Alex couldn't quite suppress the low, guttural growling of pleasure. Part of him, and one part especially, wanted to be somewhere private with Dick. Taste him, feel him. Fuck him. Alex smirked. He really had changed a lot.
"I can smell your arousal." Dick said plainly.
"Sorry..."
"For what?" The young wolf chuckled. "Wanna head home and fuck?"
"You're such a romantic." Alex laughed but he didn't object.

So, this has happened. Or is going to happen. You haven't seen much of Alex yet, let alone read of him, but he and Dick are going to become a couple eventually. Oh, and new hairdo for Dick. You can see his face. Huzzah.
