Just testing something and I've been told it was good enough to share
Actually created these for a bigger cover-style artwork and just pieced part of it together to see if it works.From left to right:
Andreas, a male witch; Velkan, a lycan; Jonathan, student and something else nobody can actually make sense of - though definitely not human according to Velkan's wolf senses; Dick, also a lycan and Velkan's protege or better almost like his son; Nicolae, vampire and Velkan's brother-in-law.

Is there a story written down about these characters somewhere? They doth intrigue me. I like how each person has a different expression on their face, lending them individuality.

Well the story only exists in my head so far. I'm working on it for two years now. It started out as first person narrator from Jonathan's view and I wrote about 40 pages (in German though) but certain events made me change almost everything. Especially coming up with Dick for a sidestory about Velkan which we are writing at the moment. It changed the whole dynamic and made me decide to start over with tons of changes and a 3rd person narrator.
I will write out an overview of the story and the characters below the final cover piece

Ah, I see. I kept seeing the little details of the characters; the backstory really provides a nice context and additional layer to the pictures, or if there was an epic story published somewhere that I missed.

Hehe, the little details about the characters can be deceiving. Looking over my gallery you'll find tons of works with Velkan, Jon and the others... in some Jonathan is actually with Nicolae instead of Velkan or Velkan looks like a punk *lol*
I had these characters in the making for such a long time and it actually is thanks to SlingBlade87 and JezMiller that I finally have a direction I want to follow
