The black car sped through the rainy darkness, further into the wilderness of the Cairngorms. The storm had picked up and the street was deserted, the lights of the car only reached a few meters ahead.
"So how is it? You plan on killing us all? Is that how you think you'll help Jonathan?" Keith groaned. His voice belied his relaxed posture, he was far from being that. And that fact that Jonathan's ex was scared amused Velkan. He stepped onto the gas and the car roared.
"Really now, Velkan, I know you two are in a cock measuring contest ever since we left London, but please, I don't want to end up dead and wrapped around a tree. Keith and I don't have your regenerative abilities." Lily chimed in from the backseat. The witch had quietly endured the two men's bickering but enough was enough. Velkan obliged and slowed the car down.
"Is that your sense of guilt? Cause you know Jon is only in this situation because of you?" Keith asked.
"One more word. I swear, one more word from you and I throw you out of the car, you insufferable twat."
"I didn't want to sit here with you, remember? It was you who didn't want me to sit in the back because you were afraid I would be hitting on your back-up lover. So deal with it."
"Guys..." Lily rolled her eyes.
"What Jonathan sees in you I will never understand." Velkan snapped.
"Likewise!"
"Guys! For heaven's sake! This is a rescue mission. You can see whose' bigger when Jonathan is safe." Lily leaned forward. "And I can promise you both that you will get to know some of my magic if you don't shut up right now."
Dick remained quiet. The hostile atmosphere weighed heavily on him and he worried about Jonathan. So he sat there silently and stared out into the rain.

I'm very sorry for yet another rain scene but this image looked great in my head but it came out very bland when I rendered it. The rain really fixed it, so, yeah, another rain scene.
I'm suffering from a bit of a writer's block at the moment but this is part of the concept for the next adventure of Jon and the guys. Oh and meet Keith, Jonathan's ex.
