Scene from a shortstory of mine.
In a not too distant future the world tries to rebuild from the ruins of WW III.
After the war the Church rose up, finding fertile ground in the desperate people who lived in poverty, trying to survive in the broken world. According to the Church the war was punishment for the sins of the people. Under the new religious government every kind of sin became a major crime, one of the worst being homosexualty. Special task forces were formed to find and arrest sinners.
Kenneth "Kenny" Walsh is part of one of those task forces, despite being secretly gay himself. One day his team and him take out an underground meeting point. Kenny comes across the young Dylan who begs for mercy. Being alone with him Kenny decides to let him go.
One day later Dylan shows up at Kenny's door. The begin of a tragic love...
