Inspired by a TR Legend Artwork... damn those cheap textures of the cliff >.<EDIT: This piece is getting a huuuuge amount of attention lately which honestly came as a complete surprise to me as it is 4 years old and certainly has its flaws since I was only starting out on 3D rendering back then. Anyways, many people keep mentioning Nate looks like Jake English, I have not the slightest clue who that is until I googled him after the like tenth comment mentioning him. *lol* I guess it's the glasses too which Nate is usually not wearing
This is my male Tomb Raider character Nathan Thomas (named in complete unawareness of Nathan Drake back then *d'oh*) and not Jake English. There are a lot of more recent artwork of him in my gallery too.
Having said that I'm incredibly grateful for all the attention this piece gets, for all the comments and favs and I still can't really wrap my head around this *lol* Thanks guys!

This is one excellent production... you have created a very skilful and extremely detailed piece of art.
Your detail of the waterfalls, cliff face, Nate's positioning as well as including the shadows is all very commendable. One of the more creative I've seen on this site.
I should also mention as others have already that your rendition of Nate is extremely sexy and be is very doable!

This piece is 4 years old so I hope I have improved since then but it is still one of my favorite works and I never expected the amount of love it would receive. Especially since I'm not getting so many favs and comments usually. I made my nichΓ© on dA but this is just overwhelming and makes me so happy!

I am probably the billionth homestuck fan to come in and say this, but this is Jake English, or at least how 80% of artists present him, a pistol wielding shorts and glasses wearing white guy (the other 20% present him as non-white), though he is missing his requisite 5 computers
