Have you ever wondered, what was their meeting like - after all those years? Did Orochimaru, having met with the Akatsuke leaders, remember three Ame kids he suggested to kill? I am sure that THEY did remember him.How did they feel working with him?
Did Jiraiya during his life with them tell them stories about his teammates - including Orochimaru?
Did Madara tell Nagato to accept Orochimaru? (And did Orochimaru, being experienced in working with Hashirama's DNA, actually started building white Zetsu's army for Madara?)
That's a whole bunch of questions indeed!

I not only love your drawing, but I totally agree with you on these questions.
I recently played "Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution", and there was a scene showing how Orochimaru was recruited for Akatsuki. "Madara" hears that Orochimaru is gathering intel on the Akatsuki, and sends Pain and Sasori out to deal with him. After a fight, Orochimaru himself suggests to join Akatsuki, which is eventually accepted by Pain. Nagato doesn't show any emotion, although he makes it clear that he knows how dangerous Orochimaru can be. As he walks away, Orochimaru looks after him, and thinking of Jiraya, obviously remembering Yahiko's face. I took great interest in that scene, because I too had wondered what both of them were thinking at that time.

You're welcome, it immediately came to my mind when I saw this. I think he was saying something like "Life sure is interesting, huh... Jiraya?" while watching Pain's back. I really liked the scene. But I also love your version of their meeting. It would have been interesting if they had actually talked about that little incident in their past!

I blinked when you said this was done in watercolor. This is a brilliant watercolor piece, wow!! You have an amazing gift; it is exceptional. I like the theme of this too, very thought provoking. The colors are beautiful also and fit the mood 100%. Awesome. = )

Oh I love this! I'm sure they do remember him, and that makes it even more awkward, but fascinating. Then again, I find anything with Orochimaru to be fascinating because picking his brains apart is fun! yay psychology.
So I love your art, I love how fluid it all looks. And in this I especially love Konan's face, she knows exactly who he is and is not happy about it.
