anyway some quick warm-ups. I dunno if Iām ever gonna get the hang of the marker tool in sai, haha

My best friend and I still are going through our 1-up challenges playing almost every day ahah

hehe, certainly, it just feels like most of the fervor for it died down a lot since then. I've never heard of a 1-up challenge though, what's that all about? :0

That's probably true- it started with the intense ORAS hype and now it's calmed down a lot into the folks who play it more regularly or go about their business with it and aren't intense 0 to 100 all the time ahah...
The reason you haven't heard of it is prooooobably because it's a fairly localized thing that hasn't gotten around a ton. A friend of mine and I got a wee bit bored with the game itself since the storyline was beaten but we didn't quite want to delete savedata and start nuzlockes (since we aren't really competitive players), so we had a little idea:
There's a lot of lv.1 pokemon in the wondertrade. Why not utilize that?
But it's easy to level up a pokemon from 1 to 100 when you have other strong pokemon on your team to use the Exp. Share via high level battles....
So wondertraded team of lv. 1 pokemon- preferably ones that the player isn't used to using / has never used before, fly to littleroot town... and train and walk across the entire region again, leveling them up the hard way. Sure, there aren't any gym battles (and rematch trainer battles are nightmares at low levels), but it does take a while, renewed our vigor for the game anyhow, and we got really attached to the pokemon.~

Oh noooo that actually sounds like a really cute challenge, haha. Like taking people's throwaway breeding results and turning them into ULTIMATE WARRIORS. I don't like deleting savedata myself, so I might give it a shot if I ever wanna run through the region again :0 neato~

hehe, I have a difficult time nuzlocking the 6th gen games cuz I'm too attached to fast forward buttons. I always end up giving up a few gyms in :V
