Here's my entry for the CardShark Holiday Contest !
Feel free to download for a better look, DA made it look all blurry for some reason. (Although I must warn you, the file size is rather... Large. >>; I might make it a bit smaller, if requested. Anyways...)

Hoo boy, this drawing was quite an effort! Five characters , I think, is the most I've ever drawn in a picture like this... @ w @ ;

For my entry, I've chosen to draw some of my favorite CardSharks! The Hearts suit is my favorite so far, so I chose all Heart-themed cards.

These CSharks are preparing some pitaya lanterns for the holiday! I don't know what the lanterns are supposed to look like, so I figured maybe they'd carve designs and shapes into the pitayas, kind of like a Jack o' Lantern... Sort of.

Without further ado, here are the CSharks depicted, from left to right!
5 of Hearts (Sharubii ) can't help but add a bit of flair while lighting their lantern, balancing on one foot as they do so (although they might be using a bit too much fire there...).
4 of Hearts /Vulci (CherryTrabbit ) doesn't appear to be too pleased with being used as a living lighter, as he glances away from his pitaya carving to give 5 a look of disapproval.
6 of Hearts (Machu ), on the other hand, is more than happy to help out with some glassblowing! Looks like all that flammable fuel is coming in handy!
7 of Hearts (Nametagz ) is heating up a blob of glass to eventually shape into a glass pitaya lantern! Glass pitayas are strictly for decoration, though, not for eating. (It might be best to keep these as indoor decorations and not hang them outside, to avoid confusion by a certain pitaya-loving CShark...)

Meanwhile, The pitaya shark themself, the Queen of Hearts , has decided to drop by and watch the festivities for a bit! They appear to have helped themselves to a pitaya lantern, snacking on it as they peer in through the window. Too bad everyone appears to be too busy with their lantern-making activities to look outside!
