Description

A few aasimar, mortals with celestial magic running through their veins. Most often they are born as descendants of celestial warlocks, whose magic is passed down to their children, causing physical mutations in line with the type of angel whose power they can wield. Three types are shown here: a Fellgotar human protector aasimar, a Maedhel elf scourge aasimar, and a Prahlla halfling sentinel aasimar. All aasimar have "split" ears and glowing eyes with an appearance close to that of liquid metal. Protector aasimar commonly have some sort of feathers, scourge aasimar have dark markings over their eyes and around their wrists and ankles, and sentinel aasimar have extra eyes and short horns. All three aasimar can also manifest a halo when they use their celestial powers.

This art is part of an impromptu "Lorebruary" challenge I've set for myself, which is intended to give me an excuse to do more digital art and flesh out my homebrew D&D world a bit more. I dislike how all hybrids in the main D&D canon are implied or stated to be half human, so in my campaigns any race can produce aasimar, tieflings, etc.
