It's true, cigarets do make people look cool. Initially I didn't like the picture on the right as much, but upon further inspection I think the strong contrast of what you're wearing mixed with the clutter in the background (although as others have pointed out, the trash behind your right hand I think is a little much), makes for a very good image.

I really like the contrast, I love photos like that, wretched backgrounds, beautiful models... Things like that.. Anyways.. I love the lighting, scenery, and you are gorgeous.
But... I do have a few suggestions.. I think that in one of the photos you might have been holding the cigg, and in the second, you cant really tell its a phone because of the busy background (the trash)....

well, a year ago i wanted to do a series of photographs where the subject contrasted with the setting. these are photos from the shoot i did of myself as a business woman, visiting her "defeated estate."
