Meanwhile Alina, unaware of Emily's plight grew increasingly worried. A whole day had passed since Emily embarked on her adventure and the wolfgirl's instincts told her that something was amiss. Determined to find her friend Alina traced Emily's path through the forest, her keen senses heightened by concern.

“Where is that girl? She should have come back already”

Venturing deeper into the woods Alina eventually found the remains of the camp and she was horrified to see mangled corpses, blood everywhere and destroyed tents. This made her gag in disgust.

“Eck! What caused this? It wasn’t me...”

She carefully entered the camp and analized her surroundings but the truth is that she wanted to close her eyes to avoid the carnage infront of her. Human remains, flies and guts were splattered everywhere, Alina approached a body, he was reduced to nothing but a bloody pile of a thick red almost a mush on the floor, next to him was a bloodtrail which Alina followed.

The bloodtrail lead to a prison chamber where she found 2 bodies, one propped up against the wall that appeared to have bleed out and the other one was pale and his neck was broken.

“What the hell happened here? And is this a prison chamber? But those are knights... they shoudn’t be arresting people”

That’s when Alina spotted a prison cell in specific, it had tattered black clothing inside of it and the bars were bent. This made her curious and worried as she entered the cell and picked up a small piece of cloth.

“No...it can’t be... this cloth is almost the same Emily wears...”

She exited the cell and clentched her fist with anger followed by her eyes briefly flashing red.

“If they lay a finger on her...grrr”

She took a deep breath and eventually calmed down, but she was still frustrated and worried about Emily’s whereabouts.

“There must be another clue around here somewhere...I’ll look near the forest or something”

Alina left the small prison chamber and the camp and ventured into the forest in seach for any clues. After what felt like hours she found destroyed trees and giant footprints on the ground which made her curious.

“Hm, those are giant, almost like a bear or something...but a bear coudn’t destroy those trees... wait maybe it’s that bea-”

But her thoughts were interrupted when her ears catched the sounds of someone crying, she looked around trying to find where it was coming from and she noticed it was from inside a cave way up on top of her.

“Someone’s crying up there but that’s way too high, maybe that person got stuck up there and is scared to come down?”

Alina started to climb up carefully, gripping the rocks firmly with her hands one by one. Eventually she managed to grab a ledge and pull herself up, the cave was dimly lit by the sunlight from the outside.
