No one said I had to do these in order XD

It's Raven and Wolf again! Both with slightly updated designs. Raven (the guy kneeling with fire in his hand) especially got a bit of a makeover. It still doesn't feel perfect, but it's a step in the right direction, and that's what matters. Wolf hasn't had that much of a change, she just has much messier hair and a weapon now, something that she probably picks up in story around this point? I've still only written chapter one, so I'm not 100% sure yet.

If this scene were to happen, it probably takes place around the end of chapter two or sometime in chapter three?

Also, the dragon hidden behind the auroras is an important character. It's not there for decoration.

Artist Notes

I drew this as a book cover for my Creative Writing final assignment. This is obviously the version without the title and my name on it, that shall remain in my files on my computer XD

It is kind of quick and dirty. But by quick and dirty, I mean that all up it probably took me 8-10+ hours to do. Unfortunately, I forgot to press record on the last 3 or so hours of work, so I don't know exactly how long it took and I won't be able to put together a speedpaint of this one like I wanted to. Even knowing that much, though, I know that doing illustrations like this for commissions would be super expensive (like almost $150 dollars at the very least).

Also, aurora's take a lot to make look decent XD I'm sure this one is way too heavy. Unfortunately, my blending brush had a texture on at the time, so it looks kind of weird at 100% zoom. I don't want to mess it up by fixing it, though, so I'll leave it for now. This could almost certainly be a piece on the pile for the redo at the end.
