I love how this came out. Btw this is the purple guy from Rebronica 's design, if you haven't seen it you should check out their work.Also if you want to see the actual size of this guy, look here .
Purple Guy design inspired by Rebornica, FNAF character not owned by me. Same with Homestuck.
I wont be drawing him in this style ever again due to the wishes of the original artist.

.... what? I'm sorry I kind of don't understand a portion of this comment. But like Prince of Life is just MY headcanon, because this literally would title him as "destroyer of life" where he is very directly destroying the life of other people, aka the children.
Meanwhile Bard of Life would be more like destroying those through that aspect, or with that aspect. He would be "destroying those with his life", much like Gamzee killed most of his group with his rage, which... doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I mean I suppose it could work but it doesn't really fit Purple Guy's personality, in no way does he ever use his own life to end others'
And on the subject of Blood... that aspect usually correlates with bonds more than it does with actual blood, so it wouldn't work either. And Kankri is already a Seer of Blood, where he is able to see possible outcomes of those who are related to him, like Signless, and vice versa.
Idk I'm probably looking way too deeply into this, sorry if this wasn't the response you were fishing for I am just very into god tiers and such.

Nono, Prince's don't bring back, a prince destroys life, both around them and within themselves.
A prince is a destructive, active title that destroys the aspect both within themselves as well as around them. Like Eridan being the Prince of Hope, he had destroyed his own hope when he came to the conclusion that there was no way that his team would survive Jack Noir or the game, as well as destroyed the hope of furthering his species by breaking the matriorb that Kanaya had been protecting.
And then there is Dirk, whose heart (aka soul) was destroyed after parting ways with Jake, and he also had the power to steal souls from other people's bodies and destroy them, as he had began to demonstrate with Aranea.
So Vincent's title literally means both the destroyer of life as well as one who destroys the life within ones self.

But a prince of life is one who destroys with aspect. He destroys life with his own life, even after death (as golden freddy)
He doesn't really steal lives or blood, he doesn't take it, he just tears it down, destroys it.
Blood also goes with bonds as well and even though it is headcanoned he killed his family that would still make him a prince of blood in my eyes.
idk you can headcanon what you want, prince just makes more sense to me.

I'd rather go with Theif cause he killed the kids that haunt the animatronics, basically taking their lives as humans away.

but a thief uses their aspect to their own benefit, such as Vriska.
As a thief of life she started out very unlucky, because her aspect meant luck to her.
After going godtier though she stole the luck of others and used it for herself in order to achieve her own goals.
Till Terezi was able to see what Vriska would have done and kill her with her own Seer of Mind abilities.
Vincent doesn't use the lives of the children to benefit himself in any way. He doesn't steal their lives to make theirs better.
And it is unknown what his life was before he murdered the children but according to a thief it would have been awful.
Putting these into account it wouldn't make sense for him to be a thief of anything, because thieves steal in order to benefit themselves.
While a prince brings utter destruction while also bringing that own destruction and suffering to themselves.
Dirk is a good example being the Prince of Heart, he has the ability to destroy people's hearts (aka. souls)
He does it out of no gain for himself, Princes just have the ability to bring fourth death and destruction in their wake.
At the same time, as they destroy that aspect, they destroy the aspect within themselves, such as Dirk's heart being broken when breaking up with Jake.
Or Kurloz losing all rage after his death and the dismemberment of his tongue.
Prince's are also cunning and manipulative, and tend to pull the strings behind the scenes, much like Vincent.
He lied, coerced the children and killed them, thus destroying their own lives.
At the same time though, because of his crimes, he too was killed and had his own life stolen.
It can even be said that he lacked a life because of his murderous ways, but that's up to opinion.
See that's why I don't think Vincent makes a good thief, he doesn't do anything to benefit himself.
He just destroys for the sake of destruction and his own pleasure and goals.
Like a true prince does. (I should know, I'm prince of space)
I hope this made sense and shed light on my views. I should also be the one to say it wasn't my idea to make him a prince of life.
