Warning: Pretty damn BIG!Edit: OH MY GOD, THAT WAS WAY TOO FUCKING HUGE, I'M SORRY TO ANYONE WHO HAD TO GO THROUGH THAT
Anyhow, for almost a year, I've been working on a group project to make a Fakemon hack, with a completely new Australia-inspired region and all, currently called "Pokemon: Champion Version." It's been a pretty rough road and while we've accomplished quite a bit, we haven't gotten as far as we could have. Hopefully that will change!
These are pretty much all the concept sketches I've drawn in trying to design some of the fakemon, some I'm happier with than others (and well, not all of them are going to end up in the final product, some of them have already been abandoned, hahah). Other artists have contributed their creative juices too, and if you'd like to visit our forum check 'em out!
Just a short note before the link for anyone interested, we're still accepting new ideas and such, but we're much more interested in finding spriters, mappers, and hackers, so hit us up if you're interested!

I like the cockfighting Pokemon ideas for the play on words for their types, and I love chickens.
I also like the Ghost Plants, Boomerang Birds, Cockatrice, Ghost Moth line, Gorgon, and the Sheet Ghosts.

You've definitely captured the style of the newer Pokemon designs. I like the cake, it could be an icecream cake, and be ice/poison. Also I could definitely see the snowman being in one of the games.
Also are you Australian? A lot of the animals here are Australian. I like the fruit bats and boomerang birds, make them kookaburras.

The ghost moth things are so damn awesome, and so are the snowmen. The rest is also cool, but I like these two lines the best.

When I became obsessed with fakemon last year, I had a Gorgon-based one, too. Mine was poison/fighting, and had two wicked snake arms plus the snake hair.
Also: I want to catch all of your fakemon.

Oh, wow! They're so cute and creative! I especially love the Snowmen, Macaques, Yak and Goat, the fighting/flying roosters, and even the boomerang birds. I LOL'd at the poison cake. XD I sure hope if they make a sixth generation of Pokemon, it will have as much variety as these. Good job!

I like the diversity of newer types that probably won't be touched on till next generation. The ghost/grass and ghost/bug lines are really interesting. Good job
