Description After hours of queuing, I managed to get inside the glass dome atop the Reistag in Berlin. It was designed by the distinguished British Architect, Norman Foster to replace the original lost during WW2.

Here, I'm looking out into the orange glow of the Berlin sky as the sun sets through the weird geometry of Foster's creation. My view was punctuated by a few fellow tourists also negotiating the inclined spiral path that climbs towards the peak.

nice pic.
but let me tell you, it is called Reichstag.
I searched for reistag, because the pronounciation is similar and it has a funny meaning: riceday.

Ahhh. Now you've done what someone on here suggested I do. You've concentrated on the shape and form and done away with colour.

I agree it's a great subject that lends itself well to photography. I've got one just like yours (not posted on here as yet) and also looking down from above. I don't think I'll put the letter on here as it just looks like the warp coil of the USS Enterprise

The great curves create such a rythm that makes the image very dynamic. The people who are walking contribute to break certain monotony that could have created. The image is exceptional.

Thank you all for your comments. I really appreciate it.

M3tzger, point taken. I may well experiment with this as I can see what you mean; that the strength is in the shapes/patterns rather than the colour. It would be a shame though to mess too much with the glow of the sunset itself. I think that adds a bit of warmth to the picture.

I like the shapes and the contrasts. What I dislike are the colors cause they are quite washed out and boring and don't add to the picture.. I'd suggest to either push the saturation / play with color filters or switch to b/w

I've just been asked to point out that 'Norman Foster' should read 'LORD Norman Foster'.

Well it was someone from [link] at which this photo will be appearing soon. Yay!

I don't quite know what to say, but this is quite brilliant. Nice flare on the glass, and the sun is in one nice spot. The people add more complexity to the picture, although you should consider a border if you want to add anything to it.
