This is Itsukushima Shrine in the city of Hatsukaichi in Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan. Its about 45mins on a tram from Hiroshima city.

I saw them at Ueno Zoo. I went there twice. I couldn't smell anything because they were in a glass cage. I actually wanted to touch them. I want to know how it feels.

haha, thats cool. I nearly touched one, you can pay to in china but it was pricey and the que was too long so i didn't. I touched a red panda, they might be similar if so its like touching one of those front door matts or the brissly side of a broom.

I have only seen red pandas in Animal Planet Channel. Compared to pandas, I think red pandas are very much less cute.

This is a really beautiful shot- I haven't seen too many Japan-themed photographs on dA! Or at least, not awesome traditional-ish ones like this. xD

Its a great place, unlucky that it rained.
The tide was out at the start when i arrived, a few hours later it was creeping in. I was there a while so i got to see it change!

heh, raining wasnt the only thing wrong with going there... We were at the war museum towards the end of the day, we really wanted to see this shrine, but we had to catch a shinkansen back to Osaka in a few hours, so we got on that boat taxi that cost about 8000y, got there and had to leave directly after (about 30 mins) just enough to run to the shjrine and back... heh.
