excellent translation of a 'frustrated conscience' just from this still image I can imagine all the movements and thoughts that are going through the subjects mind, great technique using the double exposure. thats also a really odd looking blur, did he move in a specific way to create it? I like the shadows on the table and chairs and the implied extistence of a singular person with a ghost AND a dark figure. nice one

thank you very much. i appreciate your input! it's so nice to see someone take time to analyze a picturelike that, thank you so much! the blur was created by him walking straight toward the camera, that way it gives a growing blur from the original pose to something seemingly growing off of that.

Oh I see, it looked so unnatural, and added to the eerie-ness.

great double-exposure! it's how a well done and properly executed one should look

thank you. i think i could do a better job in the printing but I haven't gotten around to the black and white darkroom because I've been so busy with color. but thank you thank you.

Darkroom cool. I do some work in the dark room as well but.. I'm only in Photo I. And they aren't great photos. This is fantastic though. Double exposures are very nice.

the double exposing was done within the camera, not in the darkroom. this picture was taken for the second assignment in my photo I class

Oh. I don't think I can do that with my camera. Nice. I'm taking a Photo I class but we haven't done a lot yet.. We'lre still on textures.

textures? i'm not sure what you mean. but yeah photo I is fun, make sure you take advantage of your darkroom time as much as possible, even if the printing isn't for an assignment. cause it reached the end of the class and i wanted to print so much more...but couldn't because it was over.

Like the texture of leaves and stuff. It's kind of lame. Ah.. I will.

I'm jealous of your awesome camera. I would kill to be able to do double exposures.
Very interesting, though. I love how the blurred man gives it such a spooky feeling.

haha it's not THAT awesome. you don't need a good camera to do double exposures either. you can just put two negatives on top of each other in a darkroom. try it out. thanks for the compliments.

i don't have a darkroom either, unfortunately. i'm rather limited in what i have to use.
