Description
For the list I was using, the prompt was “fanart”, which pops up three times on the list. I will do it, but not for this day. I chose to finish a sketch for an alien that’s part of an upcoming project.
The twilight fizzler is a herbivore on Gl 667 Cc that makes a fizzling or hissing sound when threatened. While this is mostly a dry threat, its venom feels like flames burning on your skin.
Since Gl 667 Cc is tidally locked, animals can only live on the termination line, between the side of the planet that perpetually faces its sun and the side that never faces its sun. As a result, there is no day-night cycle, and organisms survive in a perpetual twilight. Bright colors are often replaced with biolights, which are easier to see in the twilight. “Jonathan’s Organ” is an organ that sends chemicals to secluded chambers under the skin, exposing them to other chemicals that ends in light under their skin.
