Pretty sure Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet would murder-stomp Darkseid by blinking, tho maybe it doesn't work in the verse they're fighting in. Still, even without it...The guy survived a full-on blast from a well-fed Galactus and has taken on Odin multiple times, not to mention casually stomping Silver Surfer, Thor, Hulk, and others, sometimes at the same time at that. DS, meanwhile, loses to Supes in a 1v1 on a fairly regular basis, and I doubt Superman could last that long against the Big G or Odin. Even if they're relatively close in power, there's no way a punch would damage Thanos that much, not even close. Dude's an absolute tank, really.
Power-scaling aside tho, still a really epic piece of art. Nice job, mate! ^u^

Darkseid has NEVER lost to Superman 1v1. His avatars, sure, but not the true Darkseid. The true Darkseid has only appeared once past the original New Gods books, and that time it took an ARMY of Supermen, the Black Racer, a god-killing bullet, and a super-powerful weapon to take him down.

Alas, the Infinity Gauntlet only works in its universe of origin (established in the latest Secret Wars), so Thanos stepping into Darkseid's realm is going to be a rude awakening >_<

Love the work, but it would be more believable if Thanos was'nt wearing the Infinity Gauntlet. If he had that on, by the time the thought was completed in Darseid's head to throw that punch, Thanos would have made his body burn instantly from the inside out to ash then put him back together in the center of a sun to be fuel for said sun. But still, fantastic work!

That's something I'd love to see. Ten bucks says that Darkseid wins. Thanos may be more powerful due to the gauntlet and gems, but Darkseid has lived for hundreds of thousands of years, thus affording him a longer lifespan and greater experience as a tactician.Β
