I wish for the next Mad Max movie right after "Beyond Thunderdome" than he still has his modified shotgun and had a new backup and optional weapons/tools to help him survive the harsh environment he's living in.

You just made my day with this. I had heard somewhere that the late Paul Walker was to play Max in a new film. After seeing this I could definitely see Ackles taking on the role.

Ackles is an interesting choice-- and would certainly make the role entertaining.

I think he would too...for a younger demographic of course. I debated a number of different handsome devils, including Tom Hardy and Eckles had the right menace and features for the time being. This may change of course
