A day off comp in tribute to Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal, an absolute masterpiece six episode animated series on Cartoon Network and for purchase on iTunes. The sixth episode, however, is tricky to find but worth the look. The thing here with it is trying to out action Tartakovsky is like trying to outmuscle Kirby. Good luck with that destined to fail mission. If you've seen Samurai Jack, his other legendary series, you know of what I speak. So I went for calm before storm repose and pulled way back on the stylization of both Fang (the T-Rex) and Spear (the caveman), again like trying to move a design mountain as the original is so powerful. Fans: hope you dig and if you haven't watched it yet, give it a shot. You won't be sorry!
