Image Comics challenge accepted! Today is ShadowHawk. For those of you who never went down the Image road, ShadowHawk made his debut in Youngblood in 1992, eventually getting a solo title later on. The anti-hero was notable not for his riches to rags addiction downfall but for being the first mainstream HIV positive status comic character including taking a support regime of experimental drugs to help fight the infection. He takes back the night and is particularly brutal with criminals, earning the nickname Backbreaker for his fondness for snapping spines. The Wiki Bio is TLDR so I have you the highlights.
