Description
Last month I cancelled my subscription to WoW, and after over 5 years of playing the game, it felt like it was time to move on. I would've been happy to continue playing it, but the game no longer felt fun.So it's sad that I no longer hang out in Azeroth with my beloved druid, Glynnii, and it got me thinking that there's life after WoW for her. I've often imagined her on adventures outside of the WoW universe, and this is one scene I can easily imagine her in. Not exactly an epic adventure, but she's doing what she loves to do, which is helping others.
I have a few more ideas in mind, so Glynnii's new adventures are just beginning!
Also, I did a bit of a tutorial on my drawing process based on this picture. If you're interested, have a look here:

I enjoyed WoTLK a lot. The current expansion, it seemed like Blizzard wanted to make change for the sake of change and cater to the more serious players. Mind you, I was a pretty serious player, but more and more, I found I didn't want to burn so many hours in the game anymore, especially with the direction the game took.
There isn't really any MMO I'm looking forward to trying. Rift sounds too much like WoW, and everything else sounds too much like a grind fest, or focused too much on PvP.
There's always Minecraft!

I was hooked on Minecraft for a while, but stopped a while ago. That game is really fun to create stuff in, but it has no goals, and the world feels empty. Oh well.

I'm a current Rift player. Only real reason is because I was getting bored in GW while impatiently waiting on GW2. lol I played WoW from 05 until 10. I myself still want to return just once in a while. I think it's because I actually miss just hoping on a flying mount and see Azeroth from a new light. It was my muse for some time so I guess even she misses "home" once in a while.
I left because LK ruined the story and history for me. And Cata was just a few too many wrenches after that. I remember playing Warcraft I when it was released. Hated but loved it and every version after that was even more. Sad to say I probably knew more about the games history then I do about most of the USA's. >.> But it was my world and my escape from some really bad times.
I think once you grow to a point it's like being a kid giving up your imaginary friend. You may give up on that part of your life. But all the things you learned and did together never really leaves.
