I saw something like this at an exibit here at the Cranbrook museum of Detroit a while back.
At the same museum, they had a display that was eerily cool - a TV tipped to face upward, and hanging above was a projector. The TV was displaying a moving image of an old womans face and the projector was running footage of a babies face (or maybe it was vice versa, I can't recall now). The outcome was spooky, to see how the two images melded and moved together. I was amazed at the simplicity in its complexity. I know that sounds like an oxymoron. The entire piece, was, indeed, just that.

I can't find one, I saw it years ago and cna't remember the title of the work or the artist. Bummer.

Looks manipulated in the thumbnail and it's clearly a well taken photograph. Very nice concept and well taken!
