Perhaps reflecting some blues/purples in the skin tone (specifically in the shadows) would make it stand out a bit less. The skin lacks the depth and detail that the hair and dress have.
As for the background, you could probably find a better option if you really wanted to. I think it could benefit by some darkening or hue tweaking- the bottom colors work very well, but the lighter, green tones don't fit as much.
Only other crit I have would be on composition- the character could scoot back a little and leave some open space in front of her to restate the forward movement she has in her hair and body.

I love the scalloping and textures of the dress. The hair is also gorgeous. Good luck with it!
