I love everything about this picture the more I look at it. It's almost like nature's last stand against the industrial. The way you have the buildings framing where the sun going down, and the reflection of the sun right next to the smokestacks, and the birds flying around...damn. Luff this.

That's right by where the freeway splits up, right?

I don't know, but you framed the smoke perfectly, and you got a good shot of the sun without it being too overpowering. The birds are captured in a subtle manner, in which I didn't notice at first. I like to be able to find something new at a second glance. I really like this photo... it's a pretty good embodyment of what 5 o'clock on a winter's day in Milwaukee is like. I don't think you could have taken it at a better time of the day.

oh my goodness, that is beautiful lauren! i love the shadow on the smoke...too bad its smoke from a power plant though.

I like the way the light reflects at the edge of the smoke, the industrial feel is great!
