I saw him naked only because after he had the bypass surgery he couldn't dry himself off after the shower

oh... not fun
that's one thing I have been hoping I am never faced with, having to take care of either of my parents in such a way... I don't really mind doing heavy lifting or helping mom with housework, but I would not want to have to change diapers or help them bathe

I did with my mom when she came home for a short time from the hospital , changed the diaper and stuff

I had no choice I cannot send her away , we all lived in one house and she has done so much for me all her life I owe it to her , I know it is gross but sometimes you just have unless you're rich and just throw them into a nursing home I wouldn't want to do that .

It will come sooner or later unless they die before that or go into an assistant living place which is very costly .

well, anything is possible. I can't see my dad going to any sort of home or assisted living place, he'd die in a week in a place like that

well all my dad ever cared about was working.. he spends every day in his woodshop now and he's like 86 years old... if he had to sit around doing nothing, he'd probably shrivel up overnight and die

the only trouble is he never wants to ask a fair price... he's convinced if he tries to ask what something is really worth nobody will buy it, so he's always selling stuff very cheap
