I saw in our local paper that they are going to make a series out of it a new AFC channel series , never heard of that channel

you never know...from what i have seen, the places that run the shows online usually run exactly the same thing that aired on TV... but sometimes you have some ads to watch at the beginning

Sorry obviously the paper had the wrong channel , lol . It is going to be on AMC but it didn't say when , here is what I found .
AMC has announced that they are developing an Area 51 drama with Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd. Earlier today, the network announced cancellation of the drama The Killing, possibly to make room for some extraterrestrial activity.
The new series will be an adaptation of Annie Jacobsen's best-selling novel Area 51. The story revolves around the most famed military installation in the world that has never been acknowledged by the U.S. government. It explores the myths about the area and those who believe that region is home to aliens, underground tunnel systems and nuclear facilities.
The author interviewed 19 men who served on the base and several servicemen who were employed there to write her book. So it's based on facts according to the people she interviewed.
Accroding to THR "AMC's entry will take place in the 1950s-1960s and will focus on those who work at the base and protect the country's secrets -- including the remains of the alleged alien crash at Roswell." Todd E. Kessler (The Good Wife) will write the script.

hard to say... I suppose it will depend on what sort of a show they make... if its all about people and their relationships then it might not go over too well... my friend told me I should watch that Walking Dead because it was a good zombie show, I watched one episode and it was like a soap opera with zombies... the one woman was sleeping with her husbands brother because they thought the husband was dead, then he comes back and its all this, os she going to tell him or keep cheating on him or what... I was like "crap, I don't need Days of Our Lives With Zombies"
Now, if its more like Falling Skies... more action and less interpersonal stuff, and focusing more on the mysteries, it might be good

I have to say ... ehm I first watched it suddenly I saw a face in it and then read the title lol xD this face rememberes me somehow of another face ive seen anywhere ... besides I like the nose of that face its original
