the origianl idea for the wind keeper was a six winged bird but you almost always see a bird as a air elementalso tired other ideas and remebered the big bad wolf
i was going for a cell shaded look i really liked how it came out
ps. as i was looking up names for my keeper i came across the name Aeolus, which is the name of a greek deity who is know as the keeper of winds

It's a very original idea to use a wolf as the air elemental. Like you sais, birds are usually the fare here.
You gave it a cool design too, I like the extra long tail and the leathery braids, they add some fluidity to the wolf.
