Thanks Getting various balances right is my main challenge, since I only edit images as a whole, i.e. no "repairs". My mode of operation produces vastly different versions , some of which can be effectively be masked on another, while in other cases there's a promise which simply can't be made real. In this case I got a nice little gift from Le GIMP

lol yes, there are times when the application (photoshop in my case) does a fair bit of the work
