I thought about the paintings of the Impressionists when I saw this work. This is probably my association with the picture "Boulevard Montmartre" by Pissarro

That's an appropriate comparison because I took the original photo from my window. Almost all my own photos were taken from the window or the balcony, because I'm too lazy to go out and take pictures. I only feel a natural urge to leave home after dark, and then only when it's cold outside (at least not summer temperatures), preferably with a fair amount of wind. I don't mind rain either, it makes me feel alive. I will happily walk through a deserted park in the pitch dark, unable to see my hands in font of me, but you almost can't get me to leave home at, say, 2 in the afternoon, unless I really have to. Of course I could take a tripod with me and take pictures in the dark, but unfortunately I'm too lazy for that too

I understand you. Someone likes to take the camera and look for interesting things during the walks  but there are people who use photography as a starting point for the creation of something new. The camera just captures a part of the reality, our imagination can make it more interesting,  in this sense, digital art helps to make the ordinary things more attractive.

You do know, I do not really like to take pictures, I just prefer to contemplate world around me. But sometimes I wonder,  why I did not photograph this or that thing or event

I went for a walk in the woods a few years ago and I was taking pictures all the time and when I got home it just didn't feel right, as if I hadn't been THERE at all. So nowadays I tend not to take many pictures at all outside. Maybe some photographers are capable of taking pictures of the world around them while at the same time being a part of it. Perhaps that is the secret of good photography
