I have a broad musical taste. Fela Kuti? Seen him perform live! My taste fanatically excludes anything that has ever seen any hit chart from up close however. Except for the Lady Gaga stuff of course - and Mini Viva!

That's the best approach, in my opinion and yes, on the whole, I keep my distances from the top charts as well. To me, music is feeling and as long as I can get that, then a piece is instantly included to my favourites.
Sorry for the delayed reply, Voxh, but I'm getting tired of dA lately, I guess this is mostly due to the fact that I often wonder if I could put some of the time I spend here into some better use... I'll manage to deal with it eventually, I hope...
