I would associate black with Charred Mind Syndrome, which is one step further.

I once had ANCIENT Greek in school, can you believe it. It spoilt my appetite for "the Classics" forever..
I'm currently learning (in Russian indeed) about Historic Lies, always an interesting subject.

How can you love politics but not history? There is no politics without history, and there is no history without politics.

Well i don't like politics and i don't like history because they always remain same..A boring repetition. I try to undestand what is politics through a philosophical approach(Political Philosophy)But you know i am now convinced that nothing is gonna change because people don't use their mind for anything anymore and the system becomes stronger day by day. It's strength is our weakness. They can't face reallity and they don't want to. They always hope for something better without knowing that nobody will give you something better if you never ask for it.. Buuuuut please let's talk about something else something pleasant.. Nothing is gonna change...

Politics are about interests plus some background in terms of previous experiences (history!). Political Philosophy is a form of Utopianism, though in the best case some of it might turn into Practical Applied Utopianism. Of course once it is indeed applied at a practical level it is no longer utopian. And unfortunately for the great thinkers who dreamt them up, the new ideas will be assimilated into the web of interests and become tools of power in themselves, which will create the need for new Utopias. And so on.. I do believe that over time there is at least some progress in human relationships thanks to our capacity to think things through and learn from the past. Hey, I'm the optimist here!

I see... well i will never borrow your books and neither you mine... It's a fact Political Philosophy is not an Utopianism it's reality and it uses many examples from history but with a different way.Why you dislike thinkers ?? What is wrong with them?? First you think then you act,
Hey!!! Yes you are I do believe that there is no progress in human realitionships as there isn't any in our societies. We are stuck in past centuries. There is progress but only in technology and this doesn't sound good for me for many reasons...
Btw do you have any plans for summer? How is the weather in Holland? As you see i try to shange subject. Did you tell me why you don't want to learn Greek? Why do you reject me as a teacher?

If I want to discuss my holiday plans I'll go pay a visit to my hairdresser, he's an expert at mindless small talk. I don't dislike thinkers, I just feel their significance in human history is highly overrated. What I do dislike is people withdrawing into schools. In our judicial system it's common practice to hear all sides of the story before reaching a verdict. Would you read books from thinkers who explain in detail why capitalism is the only way forward for humanity? Most people I've met who are into thinkers only read whatever confirms the world view they already have, which makes their intellectual interest a form of mental masturbation more than anything else. But that's not necessarily the fault of the thinkers themselves but of their followers. I have to say that in general I'm not that interested in thinkers because I don't need anyone else to think for me. I'm very bad in the role of a follower. Which makes me also a very bad student. The only one who can educate me is me. Why would I want to learn Greek when I'm already trying to learn Russian? You have no idea of how much time I've already invested in that, it would be a waste to throw it out the window. The Russian alphabet was conceived by a Greek missionary, did you know that? I do think I understand your perception of a lack of progress, as humans in general tend to follow their material interests rather than any great thinkers of the present or past. I disagree. Be glad you live now and not in, say, 935 AD. And it's not just about technology, there has also been a significant leap in morality since then. Anyway, I hate the summer and I can't wait until it's September again.
