We had enough warm and rainy early December. But now everything is okay. The winter must be very snowy and frosty in Russia

Here in Holland December is just dull and dark and brownish grey. Only the pines and the grass stay green, but that only makes the overall blandness stand out even more. Snow and frost usually only set in in January, if at all. White Christmases are a rarity. This year it's exceptionally over here too thanks to a conveyor belt of oceanic depressions passing in between Scotland and Iceland. Lots of rain also, and semi-stormy conditions every now and then.
