Description The last contest Yael was in was a fake. Alot of you voted for her and we both thank you so much. The contest was a total scam. I saw Yael yesterday and she showed me the email from a guy named Justin, who ran the contest. It said that she won by votes but that they decided to go with their own pick. I think that it really shitty of him to waste peoples time who were voting and then just pick whoever he feels like. You can write this Justin guy here justin.cote@transworld.net It really made Yael feel hurt and I hope her fans will write this wacko and tell him what you think fo his crappy fake contests. I'm sorry to hear about this, I surf myself and read Transworld pretty often. All I can say is that localism has been part of surf culture since the beginning and I think it permeated this contest too, where they decided to go with an actual surfer babe. Maybe if you'de shot Yael at the beach with a surf board for her next entry? I certantly wouldn't mind seeing that set roll in .
