The last contest Yael was in was a fake. Alot of you voted for her and we both thank you so much. The contest was a total scam. I saw Yael yesterday and she showed me the email from a guy named Justin, who ran the contest. It said that she won by votes but that they decided to go with their own pick. I think that it really shitty of him to waste peoples time who were voting and then just pick whoever he feels like. You can write this Justin guy here justin.cote@transworld.net It really made Yael feel hurt and I hope her fans will write this wacko and tell him what you think fo his crappy fake contests. Yes, I saw that, like won hands down. I did leave a small comment on the page but I think I'll send it to that dress to. This is kinda disappointing to me because I have become a fan of hers, so when I saw what you said my jaw hit the floor. I'll leave something, I'm not really good at that kinda of thing but I'll put something.....

That is such bullshit! She didn't only win that contest she dominated it. I can't believe they would do that to her. Poor Yael, she's always a winner in our eyes though.

Thats was really nice of you to say. I understand people lose contests sometimes but we kept track all during the contest and she won by alot. I can stand phoney people like this Justin clown. My guess is that they always were going with their own choice. The "contest" was designed to drive up visibility and ad clicks. I hate it for Y, but one bright spot is that it did increase her visibility. There are people out there who have seen her and know her name now who might not have otherwise.

Yes I know people saw her pics during the contest. But phoney contests waste my time as a photographer and all who voted for hers time. thats terrible , she won fair so the people who ran the contest shouldn't have bothered if they were going to make up their own minds and disregard the votes of the public.. Yael takes her modelling seriously and I'm sure was excited about winning the contest only to have it taken away from her ... also the hard work John and Yael do together to create these shots deserved the recognition and to be cheated out of winning especially when the public were the ones voting is bad bad form ... karmas a bitch Transworld Surf...
