Here's another character! This time, she's Peridot, the previous owner of Melo Melo Pearl.

Alignment: Homeworld, serving under Yellow Diamond.
Role: High regarded Kindergartener.
Gender: She/Her.
Gem Type: Peridot (Era 1)
Gem(s) Location and Cut: Right wrist, triangle cut.
Appearance: As an era 1 Peridot, she's two times taller than the canon one. She has slightly less saturated colors on her body and wears a dark green long coat above a seeveless crop top. She doesn't wear any garments on her feet, but she has the same diamond shapes on her knees as canon Peridot. Even though she likes to look sleek, she was never able to form with ruly hair and her markings are a bit asimmetric, both becauase of her freckles and the diamond shapes on her knees are slightly at different levels.
Weapon: None.
Personality: Peridot is a very selfish Gem. She puts her success and the admiration of other gems before everything and would go to excesses to ensure her hard earned status stays untouched. Because of this, she is a perfectionist with an absolute fear of failure, and will not hesitate to expose other Gems' mistakes if that means gaining the trust and admiration of her peers, or even her Diamond, whom she admires more than anyone because of her stern and rational personality. She strives to be the best in her field, and is very deeply organized in her process so as to diminish the risk of failure. Because of her selfishness though, she disregards the feelings of her coworkers and most importantly, her Pearl, which will be the cause of her demise. She is a sort of obsession for details, and does not tolerate anyone who commits even the smallest of mistakes. She is very stern and likes to have everything under control, which makes her a very controlling and oppressive boss to work under, for which she was ill-seen by the workers of the kindergarten, but still respected due to her status.

Story: Peridot / Facet-1A6T Cut-1B is an Era 1 Peridot who was produced on Homeworld back when it still had resources to sprout more gems. Because of the abundance of Peridots initially produced, she had a very tough time getting in the spotlight, but she always did her best to climb her way to the top, even if it meant betraying or exposing other gems' errors to better appear to her superiors. The key to her success was the building of the Kindergarten on Luna 785, a satellite deemed almost useless to build gems in because of the sterile soil. Thanks to her advances in the incubating technology though, she was able to build a functioning Kindergarten and produce the first non defective gems, demonstrating that Homeworld could still build new gems without the need of resourceful planets like the Earth. Because of her capacity, she was assigned Melo Melo Pearl as a servant. Due to her strict personality, she was never nice nor respectful towards her servant, which led the Pearl to bear very deep feelings of resentment for her and to ally with the Titanium Gems to overthrow the kindergarten. Peridot was poofed during the final battle and is currently bubbled in a sealed room inside the ship, together with the other workers who didn't pledge their allegiance to the Titanium Gems.
