[PREVIOUS]: fav.me/dba2j2aThis little project took way longer than I had anticipated! It was a lot of fun however planning everybodys reaction to the topic with numbers and dual.
I wanted to use this opportunity to flesh out some positions and relationships of our characters on the current topic of AA and set up possible future developments.

I agree with voddie over how well the painty backgrounds pair with the stylized characters, was a pleasure to read and flowed really well. (Looking forward to your future projects.

I love how you gave it the seam in the middle as well, like we're reading out of a printed book for real. :b It's an awesome subtle touch (as with all the others)! It's real cool with the stylized characters set against the more painterly backdrop, they pop out automatically; Cass looks like such a ghost next to Iollan and Esther-- fittingly.
I think I've already reiterated myself enough times during the WIP stages but everything reads so clearly, the art itself along with the dialogue bubbles and just leading the eye around... then of course the exchange itself is just 
I know it's a lot of time and work but it'd be awesome to see more of your comics again if you ever have the motivation for more! Since you've done others in the past too so you've got a great hand in storytelling already.

yeah I really wanted to try a classy approach to comics as opposed to the long strips typical for deviantart. i think it also feels a bit tighter that way. I had a lot of fun trying out comps and panelling, like when Cass gets all intense, the camera gets super close etc.
It really wasnt intended, but I guess the realistic backgrounds really do work. In hindsight it reminds me of the manga Basilisk which utilized photographies as backgrounds.
Lets see where it goes from here haha.
