A friend of mine made this gorgeous 3D model for a contest and I asked him if i could use it for ref. www.artstation.com/artwork/5ld…

this was some of the most relaxing painting I did in months and Im very happy with the result. I visited the national gallery in berlin last weekend and felt inspired doing just normal painting after seeing these masters work. Painted with a hard brush and then blended specific edges with soft round, but not others. I think it makes the skin look really soft while retaining a hardness and painterly feel.
