Man I LOVED this prompt, making caves is super relaxing <3I wish I could have included more characters, but when the image was done I noticed that the comp was not really allowing for more. Esther definitely is NOT in there alone :'D
I used sketches I made years ago in Yamaguchi, Japan, so this was a great experience.

Usually cave settings have just one color and shadow scheme, you have chosen three: the waterfall, the rocks, and the foreground, all working well with the others. It is odd that you mentioned other figures for the first glance I made at what the Esther may be looking at is in the rock formation: a person seated one hand on knee. Of course with zoom it is just a ravine in the rock wall. If there is one complaint it is in the waterfall at left, it gives the impression of glass rather than water which would scatter at the bottom of each slant. Otherwise very good.
