Hopes crushed, dreams shattered somehow I remainLeft bewildered and all alone from saying her name I refrain
Surgical procedures done by her words leave scars upon my heart
The meticulous planning of rips, cuts and tears she does as if it were art
She used my aspirations against me to lead me to her snare
Then off went the trap crippling my thoughts leaving me wallowing there
I believed her when she said "I love you" how could I be so naive?
They say ignorance is bliss but I don't agree I wish I knew she was going to leave
