i can not tell you how many times i felt like i was going to drop it.
especially when we needed to take out the newspaper base before firing it. we had to hold it upsidedown while i removed the newspaper and filled in the cracks with slip.

actually, helluva catch took me about three months to finish, mainly because right after i finished sculpting her i graduated school, and had to go back on my own time to glaze and fire her. but yeah, she took quite a while to do
