The vision this whole piece gives is incredibly amazing. What I love most is how everything goes together to create the impression that Luna is struggling to break free, and winning. The chains, hair, and posture as well as how distant and far away Earth looks all make Luna appear a powerful mare struggling to escape a distant land. It truly makes her look just like how her personality makes out to be.
The originality is also wonderful: Nowhere else in dA have I ever seen such a powerful blend of various styles of art, such as psychedelic style. The pose is also very original, and all the while maintaining correct anatomy and proportions.
The technique is good too, with the sharp cracks in the moon-rocks, the many stars, the flying chains, and the depth of everything. The horn is also wonderful; it is drawn in a way that makes its magic appear much more powerful than it probably actually is. However, maybe you could change the tail's style in the next piece. The splayed-out-ness of it is good, but maybe make it not as splayed-out next time, as well as perhaps blurring/changing the psychedelic qualities of the color.
The impact is my favorite part. It's very empowering to look at, and it truly makes Luna appear to be the strongest mare the viewer has ever seen. The distant Earth, severe moon-rock cracks, and the wild hair come together to create possibly the most powerful piece I've ever seen.

I love your use of color here.You used nightmare moon and changed completely what i thought just through this one picture. I love how you put the details of her mane,the cracks on the moon,and the sky. You as the creator has put millions of tiny details all around this and changed the thought of her being evil into her just wanting to be free and she was only in the need of love. I mean look it never said anything of her being chained down in the story but you still reached in your mind and pulled this out.

Of all the art of Luna escaping her enslavement, this takes the cake in my book.
This piece is so beautifully drawn, so elegant and coupled with the strength and power or an art unlike that of any other i've seen for this subject.
This drawing definitely tells the story of the powerful mare sealed on the moon for 1000 years being ready to return to claim vengeance and reek havoc.
I'm blown away by your style of shading her main and tail, it's a very unique design to make it look more like bubbling magic than just plain flowing hair.
Her position, the strength in her eyes and the force of her biting and pulling her chains up is felt deeply.
My only nit pick here is the wings, as i am personally particular about how wings are drawn, but that should not matter here!
The position is still great, and composition as a whole is just astounding.
This piece is superb, and professionally executed.
