well the idea is that she's loving too her people, and that's why she tried to invade, as they where starving, they needed more love then they where getting, so she pained to take other the ponies, as they are just food, but we know they failed
i also have a fan idea that she's Clover the Clever

Yeah, that thing about the food shortage was actually my headcanon for that invasion attempt. It also explains the holes in her - there's a disease in humans that causes collagen to not form or even break down, leading to old wounds opening.Β

i like the holes, but the way i see it is, they make them self look scary, like how all theΒ Royal guards look the same, and the changelingsΒ we see areΒ ChrysalisΒ guards, as they can look any way they want, being a scary army would make sense
