Sans isn’t too good at optimism; he knows a promise doesn’t mean much when the person who made it can simply go back to before they ever did. And on some level, he’s hoping for it.

Well, that’s it for Chapter Seven! It’s been a long, long chapter, with a lot of lore and headcanons for this story coming to light. This update’s a little early because I made a typo and time is confusing, but i figured I might as well finish things.
